Dave has been working relentlessly with body shop leaders for
decades, helping them establish their presence in this
competitive market.
Ron Kuehn
A fellow speaker, consultant, and an author with an international
reputation in the world of body shops, Ron has become a pillar of the
industry through his multifaceted work. As a Montana native, he
started getting to know the trade early on in high school while
mastering collision repair, and he evolved into a renowned industry
expert.
Working with I-CAR in high-level positions, as well as with
Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes, and ABRA Auto Body & Glass
has put him on the map as one of the most notable professionals in
this sphere. Today, he runs his own business, Collision Business
Solutions, and continues to help business leaders improve their
operations.
His passion for process improvement and collaboration with Dave
naturally paved the road to the creation of BodyShop Toolbox. Ron
worked and built manual tools for body shop owners to collect and
analyze data, seeing first-hand the impact of such a data-driven
approach. Knowing just how vital the right insights can be for a body
shop, he gladly contributed to the development of this software and
all of its most crucial features.
Dave Luehr
A leader, business coach, speaker, and business owner, Dave has
mastered quite a few core skills that make him the most trusted
authority in this industry. For starters, Dave has always been good at
asking the right questions. As soon as he questioned the status quo of
running body shops in the dark, while all that useful data was sitting
in the systems they used, a potential answer emerged.
His in-depth understanding of the collision industry has driven him to
always look for smarter, more efficient solutions to the common
problems among business leaders in this sphere. As a result, Dave has
built a reputation of hands-on problem-solving and a uniquely
passionate approach to body shop business management.
To co-create BodyShop Toolbox with his fellow industry experts, Dave
conducted thorough research to see how they can solve multiple
organizational issues with one solution. Working one-on-one with body
shops, he recognized the prevailing trend of investing hours into
compiling data and trying to make sense of it, all the while trying to
run a business. Another common issue he spotted was not having the
right information at the right time. Some looked at the data only when
the month was already closed, while others waited until the last week
of the month, leaving them scrambling to reach their goals. Building
upon his decades-long experience, Dave partnered with two like-minded
professionals to solve these issues once and for all.
Neil Parr-Davies
With a highly analytical mind and a knack for all things digital, Neil
decided to devote his technical acumen and immense expertise to
helping body shops thrive. Technology has always been his second
language and the most effective way to bring impactful solutions to
life.
From his early days in the collision industry working with Jon Parker
on Bodyshop Revolution, to more recently co-founding Random Software,
Neil now designs and builds web and mobile applications in the
automotive aftermarket around the globe.
His dedication to this niche has brought him closer to the experts
across the pond, and he actively collaborates with professionals in
this industry, Dave and Ron included. Their shared passion for
problem-solving and their complementary skill sets have nudged them in
the direction of designing BodyShop Toolbox as a team. Neil has
brought his outstanding tech capabilities and his deep knowledge of
the industry into the process, delivering a solution that has already
helped many body shops evolve.
